These days yoga for children gets a lot of coverage in media and the benefits of it for the growing and developing kids’ minds and bodies have been well documented and widely reported on the Internet.

It helps children to:

  • develop flexibility, strength, balance and posture by exercising their bodies but also by learning to relax through breathing properly and balancing their energy levels;
  • become more observant by using their senses of sight, hearing, smell, taste and especially touch;
  • balance their emotions, relax their minds, strengthen their concentration and be flexible in any circumstances;
  • express themselves creatively and maintain their spontaneity and originality.

In this day of over-scheduling and over-stimulation, I hope that other parents will get this “infectious” bug and take the fun and effectiveness of yoga practice from our classes into their everyday home/work/school lives to help their children to break an unhealthy cycle of “Generation Stress” and create a healthy resilience. I want to give them a gift of yoga and help to raise a new generation of well-balanced people who know who they truly are.

“Yoga is the journey of the self, through the self, to the self.”
